ASTELCO and MIRATLAS partnership

Miratlas SAS and ASTELCO Systems GmbH have entered into a commercial partnership combining their experience and products
to offer complete automated robotic telescope systems and OGS observatories.

ASTELCO Systems, founded in 2004, is engaged in telescopes, telescope control systems, Optical Ground Stations, domes/enclosures
and related technology, providing high-accuracy pointing and tracking of satellites and astronomical objects.

Miratlas established in 2018 provides complete optical atmospheric characterisation of cloud cover, turbulence, absorption,
and weather which are critical to automated telescope operations.

Together, both companies are providing complete turn key systems
meeting the requirements not only of astronomical research
but also of applications demanding continuous 24/7 operation
such as Free-Space Optical Communication (FSOC) and Space Situational Awareness.

combining decades of experience in telescope design, manufacturing and control.
Manufacturing includes telescopes from typically 50cm up to 2m aperture, domes up to 12m,
